It’s on line the new site of Blueray. For the realization of audiovisual aids Unicity adopts the standard of high-definition, for both broadcast field and corporate field. The new frontier of digital television.
Since today the video-portal presented by RAI the latest November is open to users. A collection of audiovisual documents that allows to watch for free film clips selected from RAI Archives. The project has been realized on ShareMedia platform.

For years Unicity has been engaged in the study and development of new formats dedicated to the use of digital contents in the field of Cultural Heritage promotion. Today it opens a new office in Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico of Sardinia, where it researches and tests new systems of multimedia distribution on different typologies of platform. In the Technological Park of Pula there are 47 companies and research centers engaged in Information and Communication Technology, biomedicine, technologies for health and bioinformatics, with a staff of more than 500 employers. The office of Pula is about 36 km far from Cagliari and it is situated in a area of 160 hectares, of which 25.000 mq are covered. It is provided with infrastructures and equipment for research, among which a laboratory for experiments on animals of 900 m² and technological Platforms for ICT, Bioinformatics, Genotyping and Gene Expression Profiling, Pharmacology, Prototipazione - Proto 21, High Throughput Screening and DTV.

Il "Dizionario italiano d'Ortografia e di Pronunzia" (Italian Dictionary of Orthography and Pronunciation)is available online.
The new version of “DOP” has been updated and enhanced in contents and it presents, in addition to the written word, the spoken word.
The user can hear through the audio extensions of his computer the right pronunciations (represented graphically by phonetic transcriptions) of words and sentences.
For the phonetic transcription on the screen it has been studied the more practical system for the Italian public.
The solution elaborated for “DOP” consists in converting each phonetic transcription into a separate image of which the environment of development knows the extent, the position on the page and the name of the relevant vocal file, which are directly and automatically taken out from work pages.
Besides, for all the several phonetic transcriptions of the “Dictionary”, it has been developed a sizeable data bank and a dynamic system of associations between the image files and the respective vocal files.
The system elaborated for “DOP” manages about half million documents. The huge multimedia and multilingual work is presented by RAI at Sala degli Arazzi, in Viale Mazzini.

Rosario Algozzino,manager of PA projects of Unicity,attends the seminar organized by “Sardegna Ricerche”, at Parco Tecnologico in Pula. The seminar aims to provide participants with an updating about trends, technologies, models of business, new formats and typologies of fruition related to digital Television (digital terrestrial TV, satellite TV, Web TV, IPTV; mobile TV). In this process of change the television-viewer is always more involved because he can interact unlike the viewer of traditional television who watched it passively. This flexibility enables new opportunities on the market related to innovative delivery of contents and ntroduction of new formats.

After Naples and Rome, “La Mostra Impossibile” arrives in Catania. In the age of digital reproducibility, the work of art can be enjoyed using this new language too. It enables to get pleasure from the seventy paintings of Caravaggio, reproduced in high-definition in the original size: the complete works in one exhibition.
The site, realized on the occasion of the opening in Rome, enables to gather information about the exhibition, visualizing works with a forefront zoom, following several itineraries between the life of the painter, the painted scores, Dario Fo’s Lessons.
